Cup Candles came about as a result our own love for scented candles and the ambience they create. The concept was initiated during a short but lovely trip to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We decided that wherever possible we wanted to recreate the feelings of relaxing holdiays in tranquil places, and encourage others to experience those same feelings.
Why the pineapple?
We have always had fond thoughts towards the pineapple. Most of this stemmed from our rare yet precious trips to the Hawaiian Islands. Only recently we discovered the pineapple is regarded as a symbol of welcome and hospitality. We want our candles to evoke the same welcome and hospitality of a beautiful hotel or personal B&B. So with that, the symbol of the pineapple became the symbol of what we want Cup Candles to be.

We’re based in Sydney, Australia, and all our products are made by hand right here. We support local industry wherever possible and believe strongly in only creating products that are sustainable for our globe.
